Biography
Born in Kaohsiung, Taiwan, in 1978, multi-disciplinary artist Laza WU Tzu-Ning was awarded a doctorate in Art Creation and Theory at Tainan National University of the Arts in 2010. Her early work was characterised by her use of mixed media in installation works with theatrical and literary qualities of materiality, but she later turned to new media, creating works that feature combinations of video projections, interactive performances, and other elements. Wu lives and works in Taitung City, Taiwan, where she teaches at National Taitung University.
