Biography
Born in Jilin Province in 1981, Guo Ling studied watercolour painting at Northeast Normal University, Changchu, before moving to Beijing and further developing her practice as a painter in oils and acrylics. She has painted a series of works exploring cultural prejudices and stereotypes of east and west using colonial architecture as a metaphor.
