Biography
Li Changlong was born in 1975 in Guizhou. He graduated from Southwest China Normal University in 1999, and he has been teaching at the Oil Painting Department of Chengdu Academy of Fine Arts, Sichuan Conservatory of Music since 2002. His paintings are idiosyncratic and surrealist in style, drawing upon his reflections on humanity, modern society and politics. Li Changlong’s works have been shown widely in solo and group exhibitions within and beyond China. He lives and works between Chengdu and Beijing.
