Biography
Born in Yilan, Taiwan in 1979, Huang Zan-Lun now lives and works between Yilan and Taipei. Huang holds a BFA from Taiwan National University and a master’s degree from Taipei National University of the Arts. Huang’s work has been shown in solo exhibitions at MOCA Taipei, Kuandu Museum of Fine Arts and Taipei Artist Village, at Asolo Art Film Festival in Italy, in addition to a five-year international touring exhibition organized by Vitra Design Museum in Germany. Huang’s works focuses on the mixture and hybridity of biology and machinery, playing with our mixed fear and desire of a post-human future.
