Cartoonist, animation artist and electronic music composer Gu Fan (aka Lowfish) loves cats. His first animation, in 2003, was about a girl who saves a cat. Gu Fan’s spare, minimalist design aesthetic is applied to this whimsical embroidery on twelve separate canvases, following the journey of a black kitten who is looking for light in a rainy landscape.
