Notes
A young boy wears swimming trunks and cap made up of layering mersawa (a timber commonly used for manufacturing plywood in Malaysia), camphor wood and plywood to create its striped pattern. The dark tones of his cap and trunks contrast with the pallor of his skin. The boy is standing in a shallow tub, staring down at his hands with a timid expression, perhaps looking at the wrinkles on his fingers after the swim.
