Notes
Waterfall and Life and Growth (both 2014) are produced with ink on paper, and a careful, deliberate process: an approach to painting which is, in a sense, performative. Each mark of the brush, each gesture, is repeated over and over again without conscious thought until the paper or canvas becomes a time-based form, a record of the body — breath, movement, stillness.
