Li Yaping’s copper plate etchings reinvent a traditional art practice, a European printmaking technique that traces back to the 15th century. ‘Have You Seen All of Me 1, 2, 3’ depicts the artist zipping up his hoodie to cover his whole head in steps. Inspired by his personal life experience, this triptych draws upon his ideas of interpersonal relationship and the emotional distrust between people living in the modern world.
